Our good friend and neighbor, Jason Wallis recently returned from a trip to India where he was able to go and document, with his amazing photography skills, the work of never thirst.

While we are waking up, enjoying our morning coffee, taking a hot shower, and simply going throughout our day, the reality is that billions of people in the world do not have access to any clean water. Never thirst is an organization that is doing something about it. With every donation they receive, every penny goes to provide these desperate people access to clean water. Not only are they giving people life through clean water, they are also giving people the opportunity for eternal life through the saving message of Jesus Christ.

"Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13-14

furniture classics

Furniture Classics has got to be one of my favorite manufacturers. They do incredible antique reproductions made from solid wood construction. I couldn't even narrow down the pieces from their site to show you. So here is a few of my favorites

if i had a dining room

I was inspired by my friend and fellow graduate, Erika, over at urban grace to design my own dining room, if I had one. I know myself and I know that tomorrow I would probably come up with something totally different but here goes

I've owned a pair of toms shoes now for almost 2 years and it is time for me to buy some new ones. Have you seen the commercial with the "chief shoegiver" of toms for i think the iphone? For every shoe you buy they donate a pair to someone in need. I can't decide between these




but i think i really want these








I'm definitely going to get some of the tiny toms for my little girl



wonder if i could convince my hubby to wear these, doubt it.

I was reflecting on a trip we took about two years ago, when I was about 8 months pregnant with my first, to Arizona. We stopped a night in Scottsdale and literally stumbled upon this incredible stay. We arrived really late and had to leave at check out the next day to travel north. I did not want to leave! So I began thinking about all things modern and found some more lovely pics to leave you inspired for the weekend.
